Wedding Booking Request

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable and must be paid at the time of booking.

If bookings are made within 21 days of the event, the full balance of the account must be paid at the time of booking.

For cancellations, written confirmation via email must be received as soon as possible. If the booking is cancelled within 21 days of the event, the full balance of the account must be paid.

For outdoor weddings & events – sufficient shade must be provided for the musicians to perform under.

This is necessary protection from direct sunlight and falling debris (including leaves, branches etc.) that can cause damage to instruments. A large market umbrella, marquee or cover provided by a permanent structure is sufficient. The blowing of bubbles near musicians may also cause instrument damage and the musicians will pack up instruments for protection if necessary. Please let Dolce Ensembles know as soon as possible if you have any questions regarding to shade.

A backup plan in case of rain or extreme weather conditions may be in place to ensure safety of the musician’s instruments and performance as a part of the event. Please be aware that if extreme weather conditions occur, a market umbrella or marquee may not act as sufficient protection and music as a part of the event will be at the discretion of the musicians on the day.

Chairs are to be provided by the client – flat, armless chairs are appropriate.

Musicians must take a ten-minute break every hour of continuous playing – prior arrangements may be made for breaks to coincide with speeches and other formalities. For bookings lengths between 2 hours to 2.75 hours, musicians will require a small amount of food to be provided. For bookings 3 hours and longer, we will require a meal to be provided and a break of 20 minutes at this time.

Please note: The overtime booking fee will apply at a pro-rata rate of $150 per player, per hour. To avoid these higher rates, please consider a longer booking time. If you would like to extend your booking or have any questions about this option, feel free to contact us.
