We are lucky enough to play at some stunning venues for weddings all over Perth and WA and thought it was about time we shared some of our favourites!
The picturesque Swan Valley is home to many popular places for our lovely couples to tie the knot by the river, surrounded by vineyards and many venues to hold both their ceremony and reception at the same location.
Sandalford Wines
We have played in many locations at Sandalford Winery with different set ups available for your ceremony. The Verdehlo Lawn is one of our favourite intimate and sheltered spaces, set up under the shady trees. Recently, our string quartet played for Rebecca and Brett’s wedding. The couple chose contemporary classics for their guests to enjoy including Fields of Gold by Sting, Moon River and Eric Clapton’s Wonderful Tonight.
The Merlot Lawn is another wonderful expansive area at Sandalford where our couples choose to hold their ceremony. In these pics by Compose Photography, our string duo played for Jake & Teneale’s wedding, performing all classical music for their elegant outdoor ceremony.
Finally, the stunning Oak Room has been perfect for those days when the weather just won’t cooperate for outdoor weddings! The amazing room filled with oak barrels is wonderful to play in, not to mention not a bad alternative to rainy days!
Caversham House
The river, iconic limestone steps and waterfall in the Hidden Garden at Caversham House make up the perfect backdrop for many of our couples weddings in the Swan Valley.
This shot was taken of our string trio performing under the marquee for Ciara & Patrick’s wedding. The couple chose a mix of contemporary tunes for their ceremony including Flightless Bird, American Mouth by Iron & Wine for the bridesmaids entrance, followed by the more traditional Pachelbel’s Canon in D as the bride walked down the aisle.
The Garden House is also a lovely indoor space for intimate weddings and as an alternative in colder months.
Mulberry on Swan
This lovely venue by the river is a great space and we perform here regularly. Dolce Ensembles plays at Mulberry on Swan in many different combinations and is a wonderful addition as guests stroll down the lawn to the ceremony area as well as for the entrance of the bride, signing and exit of the newly married couple.
