“I want to thank you for creating such a magical environment on our wedding day… the lush green backdrop combined with your inspirational music was sheer perfection.” – Dom & Marc
Dominique & Marc held their ceremony at the beautiful Sunken Gardens at UWA. This popular and intimate setting was a lovely place for this couple to be married, surrounded by a bubbly bunch of family and friends.
Our string quartet played a mix of contemporary music before the beginning of the ceremony, requests including Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol and Fidelity by Regina Specktor.
Before the bride was due to walk down the aisle to meet her beaming groom, she requested that we played U2’s All I Want is You. This was followed by her chosen processional song, Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve, which announced her arrival to begin proceedings.
The ceremony was led by a family friend and included some unique touches to celebrate the coming together of the couple and two families. During the signing of the register, the quartet played the Hawaiian version of Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwoʻole and Elton John’s Your Song.
Dominique & Marc were warmly introduced as husband and wife accompanied by the uplifting All You Need is Love by The Beatles, the perfect end to their wonderful ceremony.
Following this, the couple mingled with congratulating family and friends, and as photos were taken and drinks served, the string quartet continued with songs including Tonight, Tonight by the Smashing Pumpkins, L.O.V.E by Nat King Cole and The Cure’s Just Like Heaven.
We would like to congratulate the wonderful couple – it was such a pleasure to be involved in your special day x
