Kimia and Elliott contacted us three days before their wedding day, as they had made a last minute decision that they wanted live music at their ceremony. Fortunately, July was a quiet month for us and we were able to provide music for their special day.
They had a very eclectic taste in music and we were able to quickly make arrangements for pieces by Ludovico, Yann Tiersen and Michael Nyman. Kimia walked down the aisle with her father to DNA by Ludovico played by our flute trio of Michael Howell (flute), Kathryn Shinnick (violin) and Emma McCoy (cello). They had a traditional Baha’i ceremony which consisted of readings, prayer and chant. It was a truly beautiful ceremony and we were very honoured to be a part of the day.
We played songs by Adele, Rufus Wainwright, Temper Trap and The Moody Blues following the ceremony. Thank you so much to Layla and Associates for providing these wonderful photos x
