Simone and Josh held their wedding at the charming Scotch College Chapel in Swanbourne. Due to the reasonably small venue, the couple chose to have a string duo for the ceremony. We played ambient slow classical music as the guests assembled, such as Bach’s ‘Air on a G string’ and ‘Arioso’.
The bride chose to walk down the aisle to Pachelbel’s ‘Canon’, during the signing of the register we performed Delibe’s Flower Duet from the opera ‘Lakme’ and the couple walked out to Michael Buble’s upbeat version of ‘Moondance’. Following the ceremony, we played outside the chapel while the guests mingled. The bride chose a few contemporary pieces for after the ceremony, including Bill Withers ‘Ain’t No Sunshine’ and Seal’s ‘Kiss From A Rose’. During this time, the talented photographers from Evermore Photography took group photos of the bridal party and guests. They took stunning photos of the wedding and their website is available here.
