Tara and Tim held their beautiful wedding ceremony on the Main Lawn at Cottesloe Civic Centre. The couple had very specific music requests and we were more than happy to oblige their awesome music taste! Tara was set on walking down the aisle to Mumford and Sons Sigh No More and we spent hours making a perfect arrangement of this song (we even recorded it and you can listen to it here). They asked for a string quartet and we believe that this ensemble was able to make all of their music choices sound rich and sonorous, as they so greatly deserve. They signed the register to Death Cab for Cutie’s I Will Follow You and the ceremony was concluded with the upbeat song You’ve Got the Love by Florence + the Machine.
We played for just over an hour after the ceremony, providing many cool tunes while the guests mingled over canapes. The music the choices was an eclectic mix including songs by Radiohead, Amy Winehouse, The Beatles, Bon Iver, Boy and Bear, Gotye, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes and many more. It was an absolute delight to be involved with their wedding <3
